1) San Jose Says No: http://www.insidehighered.com/quicktakes/2013/05/03/san-jose-state-university-faculty-pushes-back-against-edx  (5/3/2013)  San Jose University comes to the conclusions that MOOCs are an existential threat to public university like Sane Jose  and that MOOCs do not provide any educational advantages–but rather, instead, that the MOOC movement is largely fueled by long term financial considerations.

7)Duke says no :  http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2013/04/30/duke-faculty-reject-plan-it-join-online-consortium  (4/30/2013)  . Duke university professors rejected a plan to work with 2U to offer online undergraduate classes for credit. Professors were frustrated by administration and skeptical of the value of these online courses. Unlike MOOC’s, these courses would  limit total student enrollment to approximately 20 per section.  Duke continues to participate in with Coursera on providing online MOOC’s and is a proponent of integrating online education .
